I get asked this on WhatsApp every single day: "Does the person need an app to see the photos?"

The answer is No.

Inside every frame we cast, we embed a tiny, paper-thin NFC chip. It’s the same technology you use for Tap-and-Pay with your credit card or at a metro gate.

The Handcrafted Side: Why Resin?

We could have just stuck a sticker on a plastic frame. But that’s not Dastaan.

Every frame is poured by hand in our studio. We use high-quality UV-resistant epoxy resin. Why? Because resin allows us to freeze things in time. We can mix in custom gold foils, dried flowers, or specific pigments that match your home decor.

The process takes time. We pour the first layer, let it set, place the NFC chip carefully so it's invisible but functional, and then pour the final 'crystal' layer. It’s waterproof, scratch-resistant, and won't yellow over time.

A Story from our Studio

A few months ago, a customer reached out. His grandmother was turning 80. She lived in a village and found smartphones confusing, but she loved looking at old family photos.

He ordered a custom frame with a beautiful navy-and-gold swirl. He uploaded all the old family photos from the 70s to a simple online gallery.

Now, when any of her grandchildren visit, they just tap their phone on the frame on her bedside table, and the gallery pops up. She gets to see the faces she loves, and the frame itself is a piece of art she’s proud to keep.
